The largest promotion of vocational education and training (VET) in the state, the 2018 NSW Training Awards celebrates the students, teachers and companies leading the way.
All across the state, apprentices, trainees, students and teachers are putting in their all. In return, VET is giving them the skills and knowledge that leads to well-paid jobs and a rewarding career.
This effort and success deserves to be recognised.
The NSW Training Awards celebrates the best in VET. Hosted by the Deputy Premier of New South Wales, The Hon. John Barilaro MP, these annual awards recognise the success and achievements of our VET students, teaching staff, training organisations, and large and medium employers.
Winners on the night (with the exception of the VET in Schools Student of the Year) go on to compete at the Australian Training Awards in November.

From school based traineeships to mature-age apprentices changing careers, the 2018 NSW Training Award winners prove VET is a pathway for all.
Our 2017 NSW Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year went on to take out the national honour and now works as a mentor for other apprentices and trainees.
The NSW Training Awards is an annual event, with nominations opening each January.
